Based in Singapore, Shaz provides investment advice to asset owners and organisations in Singapore for Mercer. He is Asia Insurance segment leader and has over 15 years of experience advising organizations on a diverse range of asset classes, including public equity, fixed income and private markets.
Shaz has worked with clients across a range of sectors. Clients include pension schemes, charities, insurance, family offices, and corporates throughout UK, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia He is recognised as a thought-leader in asset allocation, portfolio implementation and investment governance, having delivered presentations and workshops on each topic area.
Before moving to Singapore, Shaz was a Senior Advisor to leading organisations in the UK, providing investment advice and solutions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with Economics and is a CFA Charter holder. He also holds a Capital Markets License with Monetary Authority of Singapore.
