Mr. Haji Md Adfarul bin Haji Maz Adanan is currently serving as the Managing Director of the Employee Trust Fund (TAP), Brunei Darussalam, his appointment on April 12, 2023. With a career spanning two decades within TAP, Mr. Haji Md Adfarul’s journey began in December 2003 when he joined as an Investment Officer.
Mr. Haji Md Adfarul has overseen pivotal corporate development, customer-centric and operational departments, managing a diverse portfolio that encompasses TAP branches, retirement planning, enforcement, policy and strategic, human resources and more.
Passionate about inclusivity, Mr. Adanan introduced “TAP Membantu” to support disabled and special needs individuals and spearheaded the “e-Amanah” online service to enhance user experience. He has played a critical role in system revamps and policy reforms, emphasizing on retirement planning and advocating for an inclusivity and sustainable retirement. His commitment is further evidenced by his involvement in various committees and associations, including being the Secretariat of the National Financial Literacy Council, a Board Member of the ASEAN Social Security Association and Member of the International Social Security Association.
