HongGon Kim is currently executive managing director of KB Asset Management and is in charge of the AI Quant & Direct Indexing investment division. As a fund manager with 28 years of experience, he has invested in global funds and Multi Asset-Multi Strategy using AI and Quant. He previously served as a proprietary asset trader at Samsung Securities and head of global investments at Allianz Global Investors. He holds a doctorate in engineering (AI Finance) and has served as an adjunct professor at Yonsei University Graduate School and a member of the Korea Exchange (KRX) Derivatives Review Committee.
