David has a decade of experience across investment banks – Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, and Nomura. Leaving banking in 2016, he founded 33 Capital, an investment firm focused on FinTech and e-commerce startups in Southeast Asia, and became aware of how difficult it was for private investors to find quality alternative investment opportunities. Leveraging his wealth management and venture capital experience, he created a tech-enabled platform that would be the go-to resource for investors seeking private investment opportunities with attractive riskreturn profiles. In 2019, he was recognized as a Top FinTech Leader by the Singapore FinTech Association, followed by his selection as a Singapore Founder Finalist for the MAS FinTech Awards in 2020. Most recently, he was named one of the Top 50 FinTech CEOs of 2024 by the Financial Technology Report. He graduated from the National University of Singapore as a University Scholar and also spent a semester abroad at the University of Southern California. Additionally, he holds a certification in FinTech from MIT. During his free time, he enjoys sports, wine, and traveling with his family.
